Our School History

The new school was opened on 20th July 1993 on the new site in Northstead, Scarborough.

 

Our first school was in Auborough, in the centre of Scarborough. This building is now used as a community centre. The school had no grass playing areas and access was difficult. See the old school in the picture below.

 

OUR OLD SCHOOL IN AUBOROUGH, SCARBOROUGH

Everyone was very pleased to move to our new site. As you can see from the pictures below, our new school has playing areas and equipment for the children. The adventure trail is great fun and was built with funds raised by the Friends of the School.

 

This is very popular at every playtime.

 

We have lots of space on the hard playground area, with special equipment to allow us to play basketball, football and chasing games safely.
